Theres a whole variety of ways, some lay eggs in the sand like turtles, some carry the eggs on their back, some sharks lay mermaid purses, these are super cool.

Very roughly, and I am sure there will be fascinating exceptions or variations to this – reptiles lay eggs. Birds lay eggs. Insects lay eggs. The young come out of the eggs.
Mammals like us are different because they grow their young inside themselves and push the young out when giving birth. I am talking about the females of course – they have to expend quite a lot of their energy on this business.
One interesting exception is that aphids (insect) keep eggs in their body and the young come out of the eggs while still inside the mother. I am sure there are other examples but I don’t know about them.

It really depends! Some do:
– Live Birth: Like dolphins and whales, give birth to live offspring, just like humans!
– Egg-Laying: Many marine animals, such as sea turtles and some fish, lay eggs..
– Brooding: Some, like seahorses, have a unique method where males carry developing embryos in a pouch until they’re ready to be born.

It definitely depends on the species – some lay eggs like birds, sharks and rays have egg cases (otherwise known as mermaids purses that often wash ashore), marine mammals have birth live young like humans.
